EU10/03 & EUFAR10/01, flight day 238c/2010, Kis Balaton

Data arrived from ARSF via SATA disk Q on 15/09/2010.
However missing IPAS and LiDAR data on disk Q and on thelma delayed unpacking until 06/10/2010.

Scientific objective: Lake Balaton provides an ideal area for testing emerging algorithms on retrieval of in-water constituents and on mapping bloom-forming cyanobacteria using in-situ radiometric, airborne and satellite data.

Priority: a5 - the data set as a whole is listed as a5 due to it being part of EU10/03, however the PI of EU10/03 has lowered the LiDAR priority to a4m, and therefore LiDAR stands with a priority of a4h due to being part of EUFAR10/01.

When data is processed it should be dispatched to both PIs individually for their respective projects.

This data needed to be split into 238c and 238d, there was already a logsheet for each distinct set of data. The reason they needed splitting was that the first set of data (238c) is part of 2 projects (EU10-03), whereas the second (238d) only of 1 (EUFAR10-01). Originally they were both came from ARSF Ops as 238c.

Note: Data is currently symlinked from ~arsf/arsf_data/2010/flight_data/archive_overflow and when this is resolved the symlinks will need to be re-directed.

Applanix and IPAS is common with 238d and need only be processed once.

Hawk header file 4 was missing GPS Start/End position so they were filled in with the matching GPS time record from the sbet file.

Original Eagle header file 4 (backed up in the workspace as VNIR238c-10-4.hdr_real) contained the wrong number of lines. The correct number was entered after opening the .raw with fastQC and the line processes successfully.

Note;

for the camera delivery, apart from the files copied and renamed into .../delivery/20101021-Camera/EUFAR10_01 (which are eventfile,kml file,readme) when the data is copied onto disk for EUFAR10_01 the photographs and thumbnails will need to be renamed for their project code.

for the eagle delivery, all files that are different are already included in .../delivery/20101021-Eagle/EUFAR10_01

Appears to be an issue with the bandset labels in the header files; they start at 900nm which is lower than it should be. Possibly incorrect bandset selected or none specified. Will leave this until end of the year and new Hawk calibration.

Readme: mention Hawk regular dropped frames; typo in Quality and issues section "andi" should be "and"
Project name on logsheet does not match the Readme - which is correct?
Dem is symlinked - will this copy for the delivery? We are delivering the same DEM several times so can leave it out, with relevant changes to readme, but maybe should be included for archiving.

Indeed an incorrect name was used for the site name for the directory and ticket.

I have (Hopefully) fixed this now so the project site is now "Kis Balaton", not "Lake Balaton Peninsula".

Previously delivered Readme PDFs have been left as they were, but I will update my recent Hawk delivery to reflect the name change.
