Description (last modified by benj)
Inspection of the FODIS output for Hawk (level 1b) suggests that it is uncalibrated (or otherwise incorrect). Spectrum generated (taken from Nigg Bay line 3) is:
(X-axis is band number for Hawk, not wavelength). Graph shape should match solar spectrum (see eg http://fsf.nerc.ac.uk/img/g37_grph.gif) and doesn't.

Looks like Caligeo has been evil and fooled us. The Hawk doesn't have a FODIS, therefore it must have processed from the image itself. However, Eagle does have a FODIS with output matching the above, but it wasn't plugged in during the Nigg Bay acquisition, so we're just seeing the inside of the plane (+straylight) here.
Closing this ticket and will open another FODIS one with imagery from the 031/2008 flight with FODIS.
