Improve zoomed out drawing of pixels by height (Average pixels over an area?)

When two or more flightlines overlap, Lag will draw a zoomed out pixel the colour of the flightline which has the point with the highest elevation in the area of the zoomed out pixel. A feature is desired which would instead draw the pixel the colour of the flightline with the highest average of points within the area of that pixel.
