Description (last modified by adbe)

Data location: /users/rsg/arsf/arsf_data/2011/flight_data/svalbard/EUFAR11_02-2011_187_SVALBD_PGLACIAL

Data arrived from ARSF via network transfer on 13/07/2011

EUFAR11/02 Scientific objective: Paraglacial slope adjustment is rapid and poorly understood. It takes the form of rockfalls, debris flows and gullying – all of which involve the erosion and deposition of significant quantities of sediment. The global trend of glacial retreat means these processes are becoming much more widespread. Better understanding of the processes that bring about post-glacial slope adjustment leads to better understanding of (1) Potential hazards in downstream habitation (2) The global sediment budget (3) The formation of relict glacial landscapes.

Starting to process LiDAR data

comment:10 Changed 13 years ago by jaho

Putting SCT correction on hold until LiDAR is processed so that it can be verified against an intensity image.

comment:11 Changed 13 years ago by emca

Delivery checked the camera data.

The pitch, roll and heading values in the eventfile have -999,-999,-999 for the first image. The rest are all fine. Should check for correct values and enter those, if available. Otherwise ready to deliver.

comment:12 Changed 13 years ago by jaho

Corrected pitch, roll and heading values in the eventfile. The data is ready to deliver.

Hyperspectral delivery check. Data all looks good.

Small corrections need to be made to readme.
-DEM name in sample command does not match file (lidar_aster.dem).
-hawk should be Hawk & strech should be stretch

Otherwise ready to deliver.

Archiving

Mapped files were not present in the hyperspectral delivery. Created the mapped files and a new delivery in order to create as well JSON files for the EUFAR flight finder tool. New delivery and JSON files are being uploaded to CEDA (started on 15/01/2018).
