Project blocked. Waiting for basestation data to start navigation processing.

comment:3 Changed 13 years ago by knpa

  • Status changed from new to assigned

Thomas Schmid has said he will provide us with some basestation data via FTP.

comment:4 Changed 13 years ago by knpa

Basestation data referred to above has been received and put into $project/posatt/basestation/toledo_basestation_schmid

Processed navigation for flight

comment:6 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Now processing lidar using alspp

comment:7 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Now checking elevation difference between LiDAR lines

comment:8 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Generating hyperspectral lines

comment:9 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Eagle line 3 has a strange line along it, will split it up

comment:10 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Hawk line 7 has stopped a short time into the flight, it does not really cover the region. Possibly not process it

comment:11 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Phil Goy has updated the hawk line 7 file, it is longer, but is all noise

comment:12 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

Created delivery for LiDAR

comment:13 Changed 13 years ago by adbe

The updated hawk line 7 is the corresponding eagle line with a hawk header and name SWIR*. So it first appeared as noise

comment:14 Changed 12 years ago by adbe

Created delivery, will wait for response from phil about hawk line 7

comment:15 Changed 12 years ago by jaho

Lidar delivery check complete. No issues found.

The data is ready to deliver.

comment:16 Changed 12 years ago by mggr

Damaged line 7 possibly recovered (it was a disk error).

The recovered file will likely have some junk data (probably a line or two of zeros in a few adjacent bands) in the first part of the flightline. I think it'll be around line 1318 band 22, but I may have calculated that wrong ;) Anyway, look out for it and make sure it's noted if found.

comment:17 Changed 12 years ago by adbe

Processed hawk line 7 (Had to split into two, very high and 0 values 600 lines down, not over main area), created hyperspectral delivery. Ready for delivery check.

comment:18 Changed 12 years ago by jaho

Hyperspectral delivery check:

All looks good except:

  • Eagle: first and last bands are all black, there seems to be some noise in bands 226-228.
  • Hawk: there's a lot of noise in bands 56-65 and 140-150, also some random vertical lines across the pictures in FastQC.
  • FastQC shows header file-size error when opening some of the files.

comment:19 Changed 12 years ago by adbe

Hyperspectral:

  • Mentioned about first and last eagle bands

comment:20 Changed 12 years ago by adbe

  • Component changed from Processing: general to Archiving
  • Description modified (diff)

Delivered Hyperspectal and LiDAR data to Thomas Schmid on disk 116 on 10/10/2011

comment:21 Changed 12 years ago by mark1

Hyperspectral hawk bad pixel files and XML files have been re-created and re-delivered to PI (via email). This corrects sample number in bad pixel text files and Eagle IFOV value in XML and extra comments included.

Contacted by Sabine Chabrilla @ potsdam who requested a new 2m LiDAR-ASTER DEM to cover the study area.

Created this and uploaded it to her ftp site 24/08/2012

comment:28 Changed 12 years ago by mark1

Contacted by Sabine Chabrilla who noticed that Hawk flight line h222061b.bil did not look correct (high noise in bands - lots of underflows). Appears to be due to a strip of high values in the dark frames.

Have re-processed the flight line and uploaded it to our ftp site 28/08/2012.

comment:29 Changed 12 years ago by mark1

Updated SCT value for Hawk line 6 (h222061b) to -0.05

comment:30 Changed 12 years ago by mark1

Contacted by Sabine Chabrillat who requested the DEM be extended to cover data from flight day 220 also.

comment:31 Changed 12 years ago by mark1

And this (see above comment) was delivered on 04/09/2012

comment:32 Changed 8 years ago by dac

Moved processing/delivery to delivery folder. Hardlinked all folders (except DEM) from EUFAR11_07-222-lidar-20110915 to EUFAR11_07-222-lidar-20120904 to make complete delivery.

comment:33 Changed 6 years ago by dac

Mapped hyperspectral data and created new delivery by hardlinking old one and adding mapped files to it.

comment:34 Changed 6 years ago by asm

Archiving

Mapped files were not present in the hyperspectral delivery. Created the mapped files and a new delivery in order to create as well JSON files for the EUFAR flight finder tool. New delivery and JSON files are being uploaded to CEDA (started on 15/01/2018).

comment:35 Changed 6 years ago by asm

Archiving

Upload finished, CEDA notified on 18/01/2017.
