Fenix
Replaced wavelengths and ran through radiometric calibration using aplcal to get a better idea of data quality.
comment:5 Changed 9 years ago by dac
Fenix
Level 1b files sent to PIs via FTP for quality checking before proceeding with processing.

Navigation processing
Basestation PPP result for BLAP (same as 290a)
lat | 53 46 36.94753 |
long | -3 02 05.890607 |
height | 66.2 |

Navigation processing
Reduced elevation mask to 8 degrees. Apart from a couple of spikes where horizontal separation goes over 0.05 m looks good.

Hyperspectral
Found SCT values:
Flightline | Fenix SCT |
1 | 1 |
2 | 1 |
3 | 1 |
4 | 0 |
Mapping all bands.

Hyperspectral
Started creating delivery.

Lidar Processing
Not many buildings in overlaps, but boresight pitch and roll values look fine.

Lidar ready for DC
- Did quite a bit of manual classification
- Renamed lidar mosaic to *intensity.jpg
- Removed Eagle & Hawk page from logsheet
Owl is ticked in logsheet but was not collected...
Do we still need Eagle & Hawk in by default?
comment:13 Changed 8 years ago by lah
Fenix DC
- Need to regenerate screenshot mosaic as wrong sct for line 4 (mapped files look ok)
- Needs a readme
- I've copied logsheet without Eagle & Hawk from lidar delivery (should untick owl as no data?)
- Should we mention new sct metho? (Has 2016 DQ report been updated?) 2015 DQ report also has ARSF instead of ARF.
- Sensor operator is wrong in xml files. Need to remove for 2016?
- Need to remove wrong line 4 from navigation directory
- level 1b mask & bad pixel method files are wrongly named. Should not have .bil in the middle. Were these manually renamed? Can't run check_apl_cmd until fixed.
- line 1 is very low intensity and noisy, will need to mention this in the readme. (dropped frames as well)

Thanks
Should we mention new sct metho? (Has 2016 DQ report been updated?) 2015 DQ report also has ARSF instead of ARF.
Will also include 2016 DQ report before delivering and include note in Readme. Will stick with ARSF for 2015 DQ report.
Sensor operator is wrong in xml files. Need to remove for 2016?
Fixed, and default has been removed from scripts.
Need to remove wrong line 4 from navigation directory

Have fixed

Have added note about low intensity and dropped frames to readme (same text as 290a)
Ready for delivery check.

LiDAR Delivery Check
Changed readme as ASCII files are supplied (was built using new template, where we won't supply ASCII data). Kept las filter command rather than ASCII instructions.
Updated logsheet to untick Owl and remove Eagle and Hawk pages (need to update template).
DEM compare results.
Min: -31.6177517089844 Max: 30.7861675109863 Sum: 23971.1498382134 Mean: 0.636143247126305 Median: 0.160172 Absolute mean: 4.02275398384428 Std deviation: 4.71167919897178 Total cells: 1121875 Non-null cells: 37682
The ASTER DEM the LiDAR is patched with is very noisy (same as a lot of the UK). Will add note in readme, also providing EA LiDAR so will generated patched DEM using this + SRTM.
No other problems found. Ready to deliver.

Hyperspectral DC
Read me looks fine. The aux.xml files in flightlines/mapped should be removed before zipping.
check_apl_cmd commands ran fine.

Hyperspectral & LiDAR
Delivered via FTP (arsf2). Added note about SCTs in email. Will send 2016 data quality report when ready.
