Navigation Processing

Basestation data converted to RINEX. All previous flights are also included in the basestation data, so just this flights data needed to be extracted (done with teqc).

GPS and GLONASS broadcast ephermides, along with precise ephemeris data accessed from CDDIS. PosPac could not access these itself.

Completed processing using the single base method.

Owl Boresight

The following (incomplete) notes are my interpretation of the flight logsheet compared to the data:

LogsheetFilenameAngleOrientation
1 0S-N
2 34N-S
330S-N
4434N-S
5534S-N
6620
7734S-N
8820
9920
10100N-S
111120
12120W-E
131335E-W
14140W-E
151520
161620
171720
181820

Preliminary bores has been completed for the nadir lines. However, the mapping does not look correct. Some lines look 'stretched' compared to others... investigating.

Owl Boresight

Data looked strange because it was accidentally processing without a DEM! Corrected this and have revised the boresight:

AnglePitchRollYaw
0+0.00-0.60+0.70
20
34

Owl Boresight

Completed boresight for nadir and 34 degree looking angle. The 34 degree looking angle is not perfect but was the best fit I can find. Have estimated the 20 degree looking angle boresight from the scaled difference between nadir and 34 degrees.

AnglePitchRollYaw
0+0.00-0.60+0.70
20-0.15-0.60+0.99
34-0.25-0.60+1.20

These can be used with the installation which covers flights 176, 177a, 177b, 178a, 178b, 180a, 180b & 183.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
