Q: What is the difference between APLCorr and Azgcorr
A:
Both APLCorr and Azgcorr are programs that allow geocorrection of ARSF spectral imagery. Azgcorr is produced by Azimuth Systems, and was used for correction of ARSF imagery prior to the 2011 flying season. APLCorr was written in-house at ARSF-DAN, and is used for correction of ARSF imagery from 2011 onwards.
If your data were collected in 2011 or later, you will need to use APLCorr to geocorrect them. If your data were collected in 2010 or earlier, you will need to use azgcorr.
