Q: How can I orthorectify my Digital Camera imagery

A:

There are a number of packages which can be used for orthorectification of aerial photography date, both digital and scanned film. There have been a number of publications using NERC-ARF data which have used Agisoft PhotoScan, a commercial package which offers discounts for education. Other options are SOCET SET, IMAGINE Photogrammetry.

A simple option if you are only interested in using a couple of images is georeference using manually determined tie points. For example using the QGIS georeferencer plugin.

If you would like NERC-ARF-DAN to orthorectify your data for you (not currently part of the standard processing), please contact us.
