Our suggested software for doing orthorectification of RCD images is azgcorr. However, the version that is available free from us does not have this capability - you will need to contact Azimuth Systems directly to discuss this. You will need to email Bill Mockridge <billm@globalnet.co.uk> for pricing and download instructions. ARSF do not currently supply any software for doing orthorectification for free, nor can we provide support for doing this.

There are a number of packages which can be used for orthorectification of aerial photography date, both digital and scanned film. There have been a number of publications using NERC-ARF data which have used [Agisoft PhotoScan http://www.agisoft.com/], a commercial package which offers discounts for education. Other options are SOCET SET, IMAGINE Photogrammetry.

A simple option if you are only interested in using a couple of images is georeference using manually determined tie points. For example using the [QGIS georeferencer plugin https://docs.qgis.org/2.2/en/docs/user_manual/plugins/plugins_georeferencer.html].

If you would like NERC-ARF-DAN to orthorectify your data for you (not currently part of the standard processing), please contact us.
