Please note this project is in archive-overflow until space becomes available.

comment:2 Changed 14 years ago by emca

The raw camera images were duplicated in EU10/03 233a, so were processed along with that project. I have moved the processed images relevant to this project to ..../leica/rcd/proc_images

This flight is also for EUFAR10-07

Appears to be an issue with the bandset labels in the header files; they start at 900nm which is lower than it should be. Possibly incorrect bandset selected or none specified. Will leave this until end of the year and new Hawk calibration.

Generated run scripts, ran processing and identified a couple of Eagle offsets as part of processing demonstration to PI. SCT offsets found:

Eagle line 1: 0.03s
Eagle line 2: 0.04s

comment:11 Changed 14 years ago by knpa

Starting delivery check.

comment:12 Changed 14 years ago by knpa

Finished delivery check.

All looks good apart from:

  • Flight letter (b) should be in name of photographs/thumbnails/eventfile, also filenames inside eventfile
  • kml missing! -need to get me/someone to check this after you make it/find it
  • In example exiftool in Readme, directory location goes off the right-hand side of the pdf. Should probably replace with one from a file with a simpler location (check with someone else before you bother doing this)
  • tiff tag image descriptions do not give sortie flight letter. You can fix these with exiftool, probably needs to be done.

Taking delivery check.

comment:15 Changed 14 years ago by knpa

LIDAR delivery check completed. The following changes need to be made before this project can be delivered:

  • Logsheet name is in incorrect format - match it against the wiki
  • dem name has incorrect format
  • both screenshots have incorrect name format
  • kml has the wrong name format
  • Readme DEM section: "LIDAR data which has been gridded at 5 2 mere pixels". Which one is it? ;)
  • Can not load all lines into lag at once. Error: "No points loaded from file, either because of a lack of points or because points lie outside quadtree boundary (possibly because of fence). Please check file." Not sure if this a problem with lag or lines themselves, they seem to load fine individually. Can you have a look a this, when fixed get someone to check lines again.

comment:16 Changed 14 years ago by anch

Updated names to match wiki (Not sure about which kml file you mean...)

The ASCII images were used to generate the DEM, and intensity image and given they load individually into LAG we can assume they are correct.

Readme also updated - must have been an issue with the readme generation script which I'll look into tomorrow - hopefully hasn't effected my other LIDAR deliveries.

Removing camera delivery and reprocessing images to tif so they can be tagged with new event file.

comment:26 Changed 14 years ago by knpa

Delivery check complete.

All looks good apart from:

  1. DEM should have origin at the end of name e.g. -SRTM. Also shouldn't have site name, check wiki.
  2. Don't have separation file in misc, need to include depending on dem.
  3. Regular dropped scan lines in hawk, needs to be mentioned in readme
  4. Big gap in line 7 eagle/hawk, should mention.
  5. Need to add read perms to some lev1s
  6. Underflow on eagle 7
  7. hawk 7 - filesize does not match calculation from bands*samples*lines*2 in header

Delivery checking hyperspectral data (reprocessed by jaho).

Line 7 has a spiral and the overlapping areas do not line up very well. This gives a weird double image effect in the overlapping parts. Reprocessing for all sct values to see if that helps.

comment:37 Changed 12 years ago by emca

Changing the SCT values didn't really help. Going to put a note in the Readme to try to describe the effect and suggest mapping the lines in two parts.

comment:38 Changed 12 years ago by emca

Aplmap doesn't have a -lines option to process only certain lines from the level1 file so it will be difficult for the PI to process line 7 in two parts. Going to split this line in aplcal and add the relevant files to the delivery.

comment:39 Changed 12 years ago by emca

Split line 7 into two parts. Used the same sct value for both parts for Eagle. The nav for the second part of the Hawk didn't work correctly so had to make a large sct adjustment to align the flightline correctly. New sct values for line 7

Eagle: 0.05
Hawk: a) -0.03 b) 4.44

Reprocessing line 7 for all bands.

comment:40 Changed 12 years ago by emca

Added Eagle + Hawk lines 7a, 7b to delivery. Recreated screenshots and updated the Readme.

Ran check_apl_cmd for the new lines and found no issues.

Reprocessing complete, ready for delivery.
