Navigation Processing

I mistakenly thought this flight was the York flight initially and only downloaded OS basestation data for there. These are no longer publically available.

However, NERC BIGF has provided us with Alconbury basestation data (note that SNEO, the closest station was not operating on this date). Station data we have is below:

  • ARDL
  • ATTL
  • NEWR
  • PETE
  • SKEE
  • STEE
  • WELL
  • WEYB

NERC BIGF will need acknowledging for any deliveries from this flight.

Navigation Processing

Processing complete. SBET and QC report exported.

Quality looks good.

Have used lever arms:

x0.154
y0.170
z1.377

IMU offset by 180 rotation (Z axis) on export.

Hyperspectral Processing

Starting Fenix1k boresight.

Have made a DEM and config file.

Hyperspectral Processing

It appears that lines 1 - 13 have x2 VNIR & x1 SWIR spectral binning whereas lines 14 - 17 have x8 VNIR & x1 SWIR binning.

Updated header wavelengths to calibrated wavelengths.

Fenix1k Boresight

Best lines identified for boresight calculation:

  • Pitch: 8.0 & 9
  • Roll: 4 & 7
  • Heading: 5 & 7

Fenix1k Boresight

There's some sort of timing error in at least some of the lines.

The 2023 193 York data appears to have a consistent 0.04 second offset... this value isn't correct here.

Investigating.

SCT offset appears to be consistently +0.06 with lines with big 'wobbles' where it's more visible (lines 1, 2, 5, 10). Will apply this to all bands and boresight.

Note this is larger than the 2023 193 York flight. Need to keep an eye on this.

Fenix Boresight

The following boresight offsets look good:

Pitch0.45
Roll0.10
Yaw1.50

Fenix1k

Have updated swath mask (to account for edges being obstructed).

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
